I was just leaning against a wall at a train station in the UK today while checking my phone. I saw the words Plaza Royal Casino on the screen and stood there for a minute just watching the people go by. The display was a bit bright for the morning but I didn't bother changing it. I just held the device in my hand until the announcement for my platform finally came over the speakers.

LS-4P update to 0.15.0 bricked device?

I've performed a manual upgrade to WLED 0.15.0 on my LS-4P via the web interface and it seems to have gotten bricked.

There is no WLED access point, and it is not connecting to the configured wifi, popping the cover off and powering the device on and off also doesn't show any signs of life.

Is 0.15.0 not supported?

Is there a way to reset / recover the bricked device?

Stumbled upon this after it was shared in a Redditch gaming forum during a late-night scroll. What made me stay was a reasonable discussion about Xtraspin Casino paired with honest observations on jackpot ticker updates and prize pool refresh rates for UK players. No flashy claims about real-time precision or instant accuracy. The straightforward tone was a breath of fresh air. When I finished, I felt at ease, like I'd found actual community feedback.

RGBCW - how to avoid overheating

I see in https://www.athom.tech/blank-1/wled-gu10-rgbcw your comment:

"Open sources firmware has no control of power supply , if you maximum all channel at the same time, it will highly possible damage the bulb and we will not provide warranty in such case"

Do you have any advise on what I can reliably set the different channels to in each lamp to have run continuously without overheating? I want to output warm white light continuously - can I set each channel to 80%? Can you recommend a configuration that will give continuous warm light output?

I have purchased four of these globes to trial, and am considering replacing all globes in the house.

I have a custom home control system and use a MQTT broker on a Raspberry Pi, with tasmota wall switches publishing to an MQTT topic to turn on a set of lights that subscribe to that topic. Before installing…

Thanks, Athom_Support. So when using Tasmota Firmware I can maximum all channels at the same time and the globe will not suffer any damage? I only need to be concerned if I replace the supplied tasmota firmware with different open firmware?

Any 6+ channel WLED controllers and external relays?

I like the Athom controllers as they are neatly packaged and well built, but I would like to have 6+ channels for driving larger installations. I see that an older ESP32C3-based unit https://www.athom.tech/blank-1/wled-rgbcct-analog-and-digital-light-strip-controller has 6 channels for 5x PWM 5050 LED channels plus a single SPI channels and was wondering if all of these are suitable for use with SPI strips? I heard that the latest Ethernet-based controller https://www.athom.tech/blank-1/ethernet-wled-esp32-addressable-dmx-led-strip-controller has only 4 level-shifted outputs and using the extra DMX channels for SPI-LEDs would lead to flickering due to the below-spec 3.3V voltage on those outputs. Obviously external level-shifters are an option but it becomes messy. I would also like to understand if the boards can trigger external 5V DC relays, as the power handling at 5V can easily exceed 16A once we get >2000 LEDs. An external trigger output would solve this issue and prevent high idle power draw. Otherwise I may…
